General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the accident you had.

Using cotton buds are associated with such undesirable effects such as feeling your ears blocked and a bit of tinnitus.

The only way to see if your eardrum was ruptured or not is to consult with ENT specialist as soon as possible.

Avoid using other remedies, take paracetamol or ibuprofen for the pain, and run immediately to see ENT specialist. If you cannot manage immediately, go to ER.

Wish fast recovery.
