Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain it seems that you have an obstruction in the duct of salivary gland which seems to be due to formation of crystalline stones in the duct of salivary gland from minerals present in saliva..
This condition is known as Sialolithiasis..
Due to obstruction in the duct of gland there is reduced flow of the saliva into mouth and the saliva back flows into the gland and causes its swelling..
As you can feel the hard material under the tongue in the duct of gland you can consult an Oral Physician and after a clinical evaluation and x rays if required he can remove the stones by palpating and pushing the stone towards the opening of the duct and removing it manually..
If the stone is large enough that it cannot be removed manually a small surgical procedure can be carried out by putting an incision next to the stone and removing it under local anaesthesia..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
