hi there. last few weeks, i had been having a mild cold (some coughs and sneezing) and mildly blocked ears.... now that all my cold symptoms seem to have gone, my ears are still blocked. i tried to massage the muscles below my ears and around my neck and the blockage problem seems to have gone. Can anyone tell me the reason for this?
Blocked ears are a very common symptoms while having a cold. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also recommend using ear drops for local application. The blockage of the ears will relieve gradually.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
