What Causes Blocked Noise Despite Taking Penicillin And Ciprodex?

I have had a cold. On the third day I got an infection in ear.. They put me on penicillin. Helped with pain. But my eared since has been blocked and the non stop buzzing. Went back to Dr and he washed ear as he saw wax, wax came out. Put me on ciprondex. It has been another three days and ear still blocked noise is driving me nuts. Suppose to be leaving on holidays in 10 days. Suggestions

Hi there.
For a cold the antibiotics alone wont help you. For your blocked nose and sinuses you need to take an antihistaminic along with steam inhalation and warm water gargling multiple times a day. Needs 2 to 3 days to settle. Let me know if you need any more information.
