What Causes Blood Blisters And Thick Blood Discharge From Ears?

My daughter s ear was pouring out with blood found out there s a grey area in her ear canal covered in blood blisters they gave her steroid ear drops and burnt some of the blood vessels now a few days on she has black jelly stuff coming out of her ear

Hi Dear ,

As per your query your daughter has blood discharge fron ear along with grey area in her ear canal covered in blood blisters . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like infection , trauma , swimmer's ear , mastoiditis and malignant otitis . In rare cases there can be a tumor . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order tests like CT scan , blood test and examination with otoscope . Doctor may clean ear with saline solution , prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicine ) at least for a week along with anti inflammatory . Keep your ear dry , which is very important .
