Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Over the past 10 months I developed acne sores on my arms. They ultimately result in a blood blister that, I admittedly bring to the surface, pop and then cover with a medicated bandaid. I have always dealt with acne, but this recent situation seems to be coinciding with peri-menopausal hormone changes. I am on an oral acne medicine. What is the official dermatological term for this type of acne?
HI Well come to HCM First of all this may not be acne, but could be some infective boil and this could due hormone changes, because of the age, when this is not the acne so there can not be any term that can be applied without clinical examination because skin lesion always demands clinical observation, without this clinical diagnosis is not possible, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
