What Causes Blood Clot In The External Ear Canal?

hi..my 2year kid was playing with cotton earbud and got hurt..she really screamed.on exam immediately nothing much i could see...but on waking up in the morning i could see blood clot in the external ear canal.so i have decided to observe and give her mild analgesics.....kindly advice..timothy

cotton bud causes trauma in external ear canal
there may be might oozing you didnt noticed at a time
keep ear dry and prevent water entry into the ear to prevent infection
give symptomatic analgesic if she had pain
