my father is 47 he weighs about 210 lbs he is 5 foot 6 inches. he started getting blood clots in his urine and bowel movements. it went away for about a week but then came back worse than it was before. all kinds of cancer runs throughout my whole family including his father. i was wondering if this could be cancer

So gastric carcinoma should be ruled out and for that primary workup USG abdomen scan should be done. endoscopy or colonoscopy can be planned if needed and your stool routine microscopic examination and rectal examination is needed. urine should be investigated for presence of pus cells bacteria if present. coagulation profile also should be check with PT, APTT like investigation. According to cause specific treatment given. Consult gastroenterologist for examination.
