What Causes Blood Clots In Urine?

Hiya doc its not about me its about my girlfriend. She went to the toilet and had a pee and there was a little bloodclot in her pee. And we think she may be pregnant but it was to early tell so what do you think we should do doctor? She has had 2kids befor and bled halfway throughout pregnancy with the 1st child?

HI dear thanks for writing to healthcare magic!!
Possible reason for blood in the urine is infection, trauma, stone or inflammation. But since she has the past history of bleeding i advise you to consult gynaecologist for clinical examination it is a priority. Pregnancy can be checked by Urinary pregnanacy test, Blood HCG levels and sonography once she is delayed by 2 weeks of periods. But that has to be under the observation. I advise you for iron supplement and take grreny leafy vegetables and fruits. Also get your Hb level checked.
