What Causes Blood Discharge, abdominal Pain, dizziness At 5th Week Of Pregnancy?

Im approx 4-5 weeks pregnant however the doctor could see no sign of pregnancy though the scan and thus determined my pregnancy through blood tests. I was told to go back in two weeks but ive been feeling incredibly dizzy, weak and i have a lower left abdominal pain that wont go away. I also had a bloody discharge this morning that seems to have cleared up. Is this normal?

Hello,
Dizziness, weakness, occasional cramps in the pelvis as the tubes contract and the uterus receives the embryo, are all common during early pregnancy. Implantation bleeding also is often seen at around 4 weeks as the embryo attaches to the uterine wall. This clears up in a couple of days and any further bleeding or spotting is abnormal. A trans-vaginal sonogram at 5-6 weeks can give location of the sac, gestational age and fetal viability. Please take adequate rest and avoid stressful activity. Hope this helps.
