I get cysts on my inner thigh, or at least I m pretty sure that s what they are. An old one looked slightly bruised (slightly purple ) but I though nothing over it. Yesterday, it started to hurt and I noticed it looked like a blood blister today it popped leaving a great big crater in my thigh (very top of my inner thigh) it bleed a fair bit and is very sore what might it be?
I can understand your concern for blood filled cyst on inner thigh. It evident from your query that you have developed a sebaceous cyst with secondary infection over the thigh area. In yoru kind of cases I suggest my patients to meet a doctor. It is imporatant to get a course of oral antibiotic for the same. In my patients I generally prescribe Cefixime or cefadroxil or amoxycillin along with anti-inflammatory drugs. I further suggest you to not to pinch or pop the area as can get further inflamed. All the best.
