What Causes Blood From Throat?
I had a sore throat for about 5 days and it was starting to get better. 3days ago there was a spot on blood when I cleared my throat, yesterday a bit more blood when ever i cleared my throat and today there is a lot more blood. It only happens when I clear my throat and sometimes when i blow my nose. I have seen my GP but he didnt seem concernd and gave me a nasal cream. I am still worried. what could it be. I am 22year old female and I dont drink or smoke.

Blood in spits while clearing throat needs attantion. General advise:
1. Don't blow nose too hard
2. Don't clear throat very harsh and with force
3. Avoid oily, spicy and cold foods or beverages
4. Frequently clear throat with warm saline water
5. Maintain proper hydration by water intake frequently
6. strictly observe proper oral and nasal hygiene

4. X-ray chest and sinuses.
