What Causes Blood Gushing Out From Vagina During Postpartum?
I am a female 3 months post partum. My boyfriend and I starting being sexual active a few weeks ago sometimes I bleed a little bc I ripped These past 4 times I haven t bled , but when I went pee I saw a gush of blood in the toilet I am no longer bleeding only one gush . Could this be the post partum still?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. What you have experienced is 'post-coital bleeding' during your post-partum period. It refers to spotting or bleeding unrelated to menstruation that occurs during or after sexual intercourse. Causes of these include: Infection, Cervical or endometrial polyps, Vaginal cancer, Cervical cancer or Trauma. It is better you can get an Ultrasound scan of pelvis done along with per-speculum examination by Gynecologist to rule out some of these causes. Then it could be treated accordingly. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
