What Causes Blood In My Stool For A 41-year-old Female?

I noticed quite a bit of blood in my stool today. I have also noticed over the past few weeks, extreme fatigue... like following asleep after a triple latte and trouble staying awake even though I get enough sleep. I m extremely athletic (15% body fat), I exercise regularly, I eat well but I m also under a tremendous amount of stress and have a demanding career. I ve had some chest pressure and lots of stomach sensitivity, nausea lately. Any ideas? I m a 41 year old female. I have a few drinks a week and do not smoke.

Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about blood in stool can be due to haemorrhoids possibly .You need to notice whether its a fresh blood pr like red black clot...It can be a cause of ulcer or bleeding in upper gastrointestinal tract...You need to have an colonoscopy done and consult a gastroenterologist to rule out the exact cause...Follow some changes in lifestyle like avoid spicy oily junk foods and take much of fibre rich diet to maintain gastric motility and prevent constipation..Prolong bleeding can lower down your level of haemoglobin and cause fatigue and drowsiness so need to check it ..I hope the information helps you...Take care.
