What Causes Blood In Stool And Diarrhea Post A Hysterectomy?
Hello doctor. My wife went thru total hystatmy in feb due to endometriosis. But she has two patches of endometriosis in sigmoid colone. Biopsy done non cancerous. For the last 2-3 days she had loose motions. She took cyclopam medicine. But yesterday she went to toilet for stool there was a blood in the stool. She was worried. ( no pain in stomach but feeling tense mussles in lower stomach) She went again in the evening no blood. But at night she went again there was blood but less than afternoon. Now in the morning she feel tightness in the left side of the body her left eye look smaller than right. After some time the eye size looks normal but slight tightness in the left side. Pl help.

The pain with tightness and blood in the diarrhea indicate flaring of endometriosis which is located in the sigmoid colon. The condition is not normal and usually requires in hospital treatment in major set up with:
- Intravenous fluid
- Intravenous antibiotics
- Intravenous anti spasmodic medications
- Packed cell volume transfusion in case of anemia
