What Causes Blood In Stool, Rectal Pain And Stomach Pain?
I am a 20 year old female. I have been experiencing blood in my stool for about 3 months now. The past 2 months my stool has been black, tarry and thin at times. sometimes I have bleeding when I don't have a BM. I have the feeling that I am not totally finished after I have a BM. I have rectal pain and stomach pain. I am extremely tired all the time and feel sick. Is it just a hemorrhoid or is it something more?
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your stomach upset and blood in stools.
As per your history you had terry black stools that means you had upper GI bleed that means it is either in stomach or small intestine.
You need to visit a Gastroenterologist for further evaluation and also get a scan of your abdomen done. During mean time take pantoprazole 40mg empty stomach in morning daily.
Hope my answer will help you and visit us back in case you want any further information regarding your health queries.
Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
