What Causes Blood In Stool When Diagnosed With Typhoid?

I was tested positive for typhoid. So took medicine for the typhoid. about two weeks later i developed anal itching and i now have blood in my stools, after bowel movements i have itching and slight brick red stools, but i have no pain or anything else going on.

Hi,

Blood in stool may be due

1. The local problem in the anus - the blood will be bright red. due to fissure or ulcer in the anus. It may be due to hard stools.

2. Anal polyp, rectal polyp also produce blood in stools.

If bleeding continues you can meet your physician.
