What Causes Blood In Stool While Having Diarrhea?

When I go to bathroom sometimes I have diaria and it is red. I drink water with juice concentrate that you buy in bottle. Water flavouring. It is red in colour. I don t have this always. Once I ate red licourace and same thing happened. I have a little blood from hemroids but very little. I m 64 years old and very healthy. Is the blood red in toilet from food or blood.

It may be due to dysentery or stomach infection.

For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, stool analysis, ultrasound abdomen after physician consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Keep your self hydrated.

Continue oral rehydration solution.

Do blood pressure monitoring
