What Causes Blood In Stool While Taking Percocet And Laxatives?
I had neck surgery in February, I woke up during surgery causing C4 nerve damage and loss of movement in my right arm, I m taking four to five Percocet daily and gabimentin, four days ago I took a Epsom salt laxative and have had bright red blood in my stool
Most probably due to recurrent use of oxycodone (part of percocet tablet) you have started problem of constipation. This prolonged constipation can lead to tear in the anal area down which may lead to bleeding as in your case. You need to visit a general surgeon to confirm this thing or to diagnose other possibility. You should limit use of percocet to ease your constipation problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
