What Causes Blood In Stool With Itching In Buttocks And Bloating?
Hi there,
I am 22 years old and over the past several weeks I have had bright red blood in the toilet bowl when I pass stool. At first I thought it was a hemmorhoid, but after self inspection I have noticed a small 'slit-like' cut just inside of my anus. Before it came to blood in the stool, I was constantly itching my anus. Along with this, I have also noticed a constant bloated feeling in my abdomen, and my abdomen is always making 'growling' sounds, non stop (after i eat, while i eat and when i dont eat). How do i fix this?

Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids.
Some advices that I can give to you is:
- Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone.
- Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
- Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.
