Hi,

As colonoscopy came out to be normal, the causes of blood in stool may be an anal fissure, hemorrhoids, small mucosa tears due to straining at stools, diverticulitis (that might cause bleeding but might be missed during colonoscopy), or any early stages of inflammation of rectum that might be missed on colonoscopy.

Please give your stool sample for examination to confirm presence of blood. Let a surgeon examine you in person for any anal fissures or hemorrhoids. Consume bland diet. High fiber and very low spice is preferable. Irritable bowel syndrome also causes vomiting and / or constipation alternatively. Please discuss the above points with your gastroenterology expert.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
