blood in my stool but not on the toilet paper, bowels are soft they are a lot longer than normal and I don t feel like my self after having a bowel movement I go once a day normally in the mornings you can tell the blood is in the stool its self and have red coloring in toilet afterwards is it anything to worry about

Blood in stools can be due to following reasons 1. Hemorrhoids( piles) is most common reason. They are swollen blood vessels in the rectum or anus. 2.Anal fissures- a tear in intestine sometimes caused due to hard stool passage 3.Infection of intestines can also cause blood in stool along with pain in abdomen. 4.Rarely it might be colon cancer
If problem persists, you should visit a Gastroenterologist. A colonoscopy is advised to ruleout possibility of colon cancer.
