General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Most commonly bleeding in stools takes place due to presence of fissures and/or hemorrhoids or also due to mucosal injuries caused due to constipation.
It is more common in pregnancy as some people experience constipation during such time. It can be managed conservatively by means of taking high fibre diet and using stool softener medications. All you need to do to prevent its recurrence is avoiding constipation.
Drink good quantity fluids and consume diet which is semi-solid and easy to digest.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
