What Causes Blood In Stool?

hello, my uncle is passing blood from the bowel, went to hospital and they told him that the nerves around the heart aren t just leaking, they are spraying blood . I don t know if he meant vessels or nerves, but said they didn t know what to do with him put him on a blood thinner and another script and sent him home. Now, I m not a Dr., not even a nurse, but I m pretty sure if they didn t know what to do, they should have called in a Cardiologist?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
From your description about the patients condition, it is not possible to say what could be the cause. However, if bleeding is from the anal are or large intestine, then the problem coulld be either in the anal or rectal region.
Problems areound heart are unlikely to cause such a situation. So it is better to consult a local gastroenterologist and then decide. It does not appear to be anything related to cardiology. Thanks
