What Causes Blood In The Mucous, Nose Congestion And Headache With Pharyngitis?
hello, I ve been sick the past two weeks with pharyngitis and im slowly improving but I ve noticed i have blood in my mucus, nose congestion and a really bad headache that hurt my eyes, should this be a cause of concern? if so what do I do? Last night I also took medication such as antibiotics and anti inflammation medication along with Tylenol codeine, and I ended up throwing up 6 times and then that s when the blood in mucus started so I m just concerned if I should be worried or not

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having infection of your throat. Medication you have taken are correct but can cause gastritis, That is why you have vomited. Continue same treatment. along with this add on proton pump inhibitors with prokinetcs drug for 2 weeks. Blood in mucus is because of congestion in throat and nose. Antihistamines + decongestant tablet twice daily for 5 days will be helpful.
