Hi, Noted your short history of sinus drainage in throat of yellow fluid, blood tinged today, not much coughing. Bleeding can be due to inflamed mucosa secondary to infection. Can be due to some vascular problem which needs to be ruled out. Yellow fluid indicates that there is an infection. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult your Doctor and insist for CT scan of sinuses to get a confirmed diagnosis for an appropriate and specific treatment to be taken. Also get the relevant tests of throat swab, blood tests and so on as required. Get a referral to an ENT Surgeon if there is sinusitis or so. This will allow for endoscopy of nose and throat to get better clinical picture. Treatment with prescription based antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, nasal drops, symptomatic and supportive can help you to get a potential cure. Further management as per the cause found. Take care.
