General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in stool is related to an hemorrhage in the intestine tract. I suggest to do a colonoscopy for further evaluation.

I also suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound to check for the cause of the pain.

As per your query, the symptoms seem to be related to colitis, which is an inflammation of the colon lining. Meanwhile, I suggest using spasmolytics to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
