What Causes Blood In The Urine?

The doctor found blood in my urine again this has been going for the 15 years they did a cyctoscopy back in 2006 they didnt find anything.Now yesterday my urologist put me on ciprofloxacin for 10 days to see if there is an infection.Can an infection last 15 years or is it cancer.This is driving me and my family crazy.Id like to know the possibilities.Thank you Vincent

Hi,
Their can be many reasons,
Causing blood in urine,it may be renal stones,
Recurrent UTI,kidney diseases like nephritic syndrome,proastate infection,tuberculosis
Various diseases can cause,
Cancer presents not merely with blood in urine,but also lump difficulty in micturation,passing stool,

Some investigation needs to be done like,
ultrasound abdomen and pelvis ,complete blood count,urine routine microscopy and culture,

Your treating doctor will be knowing it,
