What Causes Blood In Urine After Insertion Of Stents In The Heart?
I had stents put in about two weeks ago. I had a heart attack. I have been having blood in my pee.Not huge amounts but enough to notice.They put me on Metoprolol 25 mg,Brilinta 90 mg,Simvastatin 40 mg,Gemfibrozil 600 mg. I also take Norco 10, and Nurteion 400 mg. Is this normal?

Hi,
You are on blood thinners like Brilinta. Blood in urine is due to that. It is not due to the primary procedure of angioplasty. See a cardiologist to titrate/stop blood thinners.
