What Causes Blood In Urine After Laser Removal Of Kidney Stone?

I had my kidney stone lasered 3 days ago. The stent they put in was supposed to stay there for a week and i was to take it out after a week. the string must have got caught on my blanket and the whole stent came out while i was still in hospital, The doctor said he was not going to put it back in and sent me home. Now 3 days later the blood in my urine has increased to the point it looks like a real lot of blood. Will this severe bleeding stop ?
