My daughter has blood in her urine, but doesn t have an infection. She has had kidney stones in the past. She also has to urinate frequently. She also has very high blood pressure. Her doctor wants her to see a specialist. Any idea what this could all mean?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that having kidney stones since long might have given severe damage to her kidneys leading to passing of blood and raising her blood pressure.
She requires some investigations like ultra sound, IV pyelography to know extent of damage in kidneys.
Consult Urologist and get her examined.
Ok and take care.
