What Causes Blood In Urine And Sharp Pain After Having Shunt To Remove Kidney Stones?
My my wife had a kidney stone that was unpassable. They went in and broke it up. Most of the stone was removed minus a few small pieces. They put a stent in. It has been since removed. Four weeks later she is still seeing substantial blood in her urine and minor sharp pain. Is this normal this far post op?
at times it does happen as small pieces of calculi on their way down can injure the urethera/ureter and cause colic/ burning while passing urine once all of them are cleared and stent removed the problem will resolve please do not worry
