What Causes Blood In Urine And Stool Along With Stomach Pain?
Thank u .My friends mother has had blood in urine and stool. They did colonoscipy and found a mass outside the intestine.Today they did a scan.Could it be something like diverticulitus, she had stomach pain and says she can feel something inside her abdomen/
Diverticulitis may cause blood with the stools but not blood with the urine. She will need to investigate the mass she is having. Sometimes cancer may affect the coagulability of the blood and may cause bleeding in different areas, as it may have happened in her case. She will need some blood tests as well to check the coagulation factors and other related indexes.
I hope this is helpful and answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further assistance is needed.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
