What Causes Blood In Urine Inspite Of Being On Symbicort And Claritin?

I take Warfarin and have recently started passing frequent blood clots in my urine. I have been treated for bladder cancer a couple of years ago. Just started taking Spiriva Inhaler, Symbicort inhaler, Nasacort and Claritin. Would they increase possibility of bleeding?

Warfarin definitely increases the risk of bleeding, and your level could have gotten too high and your blood too thin. This could result in bleeding. I presume you are having PT/INR tests regularly to check the level. Very important to check it again if any active bleeding is occurring. The other drugs you mention shouldn't be causing any urinary bleeding. With your history of bladder cancer, it is critical that you let your oncologist and/or urologist know right away. A recurrence is always a consideration. So check the PT/INR and contact your specialists. The area where the cancer was could also be an area more susceptible to bleeding if the PT/INR is off, even if there is no recurrence. Hope this helps.
