What Causes Blood In Urine While On Eliquis?

I ve been on eliquis for over three years after triple bypass; also have pacemaker for afib. In September started seeing blood in urine. Had cat scans, ultra sounds, most recently procedure to smash kidney stone. Stopped eliquis off and on during all this and blood stopped and started again when going back on eliquis. ??

Welcome to HealthcareMagic ..
Eliquis is apixiban .and has the problem of bleeding spontaneous ie without any apparent cause or by any external cause .now it should be seen that whether the blood in urine is causing anaemia or not .and secondly all codtions which aggravate bleeding as stone should be taken care of .
And your INR should be kept between 2 and 3 . and for this dose of eliquis has to be adjusted .
If you have any further query then you can come back to HealthcareMagic i will definitely help you and guide you appropriately .
