I take Xarelto daily and four weeks ago showed blood in my urine. Bladder scan by my Urologist showed nothing. Discontinued Xarelto for two weeks and no more blood in the urine. CAT scan was performed and showed nothing. Resumed taking Xarelto daily. I hate Xarelto. A simple nick or scratch will cause a slight bleed which plays hell with bed linen as does the occasional in bed sleeping nose bleed. I have Waldenstrom s (in remission) & Late Onset RA I take Xarelto because of a history of Afib which I haven t had since my Pulmonary Vein Ablation a few years ago. Is their a better and less costly blood thinner other than Coumadin and Xarelto.
