I just saw my doctor today, normal physical. The lab report showed blood cells in my urine of 15. He had me go to the lab and give another sample - one being some special in that I had to put some of the urine into a container that had another liquid in it. Depending on the results I may have to have a camera inserted in my penis and they would take a look at my bladder. He did tell me that it could be possible kidney stone, or other things, and of course it could be the beginnings of bladder cancer or kidney cancer. However the lab showed my kidneys were okay, and the color of the urine was yellow.
You seem to have microscopic hematuria which means you have minor blood coming in urine. The most common reason for it is a stone in kidney, ureter, bladder or urethra. You need to get investigations done to rule out presence of stone and thereafter other causes of blood coming in urine. Cancer of bladder or kidney is not the commonest cause for microscopic hematuria as they cause more of visible hematuria however it needs to be definitely ruled out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
