Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Blood in urine(hematuria) may be caused by many medical conditions.Possible causes may include: -Urinary tract infections -Kidney infections -A bladder or kidney stone -Kidney disease or Glomerulonephritis -Cancer -Inherited disorders -Kidney injury -Some Medications -Strenuous exercise In her case, the cause has been identified as UTI.All that is needed is for the infection to be well managed. When hematuria becomes too massive, she may become anemic or hypovolemic and present with other symptoms like fainting. I will suggest you take her back to the hospital for evaluation and IV antibiotics.Other test like full blood count will be needed to know if she is anemic and if the case, the anemia be corrected. Hope this will help Best regards
