What Causes Blood In Urine?

My husband has had a few problems with his prostrate gland and has undergone some procedures. The last 2 early mornings I have been checking the urine he leaves in the toilet during the night. The is yellow urine but bright red blood also present. Should he make a visit to his urologist?

Hi, I think you should consult a urologist. It can be due to some urine infections or it may be due to bladder problem also. Get a urine routine and microscopy and a culture done. Also do a ultrasound to see the kidneys, ureter and bladder.
