Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In February 2017 I experienced a Green Laser procedure because of BPH. Everything seems fine until May when I experience blood in my urine. My Dr conducted a cystoscopy and found some stones. He was able to extract some but one, which I passed when I urinated. Lately I have been urinated blood (red) every time I walk more that two miles. It takes several hours for the urine to be clear again. My Dr has prescribed Finasteride as a solution for this problem. It has not work. My GP has recommended that I stop taking the aspirine (5mg) I take for my heart.

I suggest you to do an ultrasoud, and maybe a ct scan for confirmation of the diagnosis. Meanwhile some advices that I can give to you are: -Dehydration is a major risk factor for kidney stone formation so stay hydrated -diet is also very important I suggest you to consult your nephrologyst about treatment depending on you condition.
