What Causes Blood In Vomit During 31st Week Of Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, my wife is complete 31 week pregnancy, today morning she have vomiting with some quantity of blood, then I consulted with doctor, doctor suggest to take Rantac MPS suspension and Ranitidine Hydrochloride Tablet IP 150 mg. So is it helpful ? Please suggest!!
Hello Blood in vomitus may be because of gastritis or gastro oesophageal reflux disease if it is minimal. GERD in 31st week of pregnancy can be due to the pressure of uterus . However, vomiting can also be due to other possibilties like gall bladder stones, pancreatitis. These gastro intestinal problems are quiet common in pregnancy and they need to be taken care of.This demands visit to gynaecologist/gastroenterologist for further evaluation Tab Ranitine 150 mg can be taken twice in a day. Take small frequent meals. -Avoid fatty food. -Have meals atleast 3 hours before going to bed. Thanks
