Hi,

Naproxen, a NSAID cause high risk of developing fatal cardiovascular complications like myocardial infarction and stroke. It also causes fatal gastrointestinal (GI) complications like bleeding, ulceration, perforation of the stomach or intestine.

Your history doesn't mention the age, but says about abdominal pain. As NSAIDs increase the risk for serious GI complications in elders and patients with existing history of peptic ulcer disease or GI bleeding, care should be taken. I advise you to, discontinue the drug and to visit your doctor for clinical examination and to do a USG.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
