Hi welcome to HCM... According to your history , you are having acute gastroenteritis infection.... It could be bacterial , viral or parasitic infection.... It is better to do stool routine microscopic examination... -If shows pus cells and bacteria than bacterial infection can be the cause ... -If shows ameba egg than amebic colitis can be there -It might shows giardia , hookworm egg also if present According to cause treatment guided with antibiotic , metronidazole or albendazole . If suspected blood culture done for typhoid .. Meanwhile maintain hydration ... Drink lots of fruit juice and water Avoid excess spicy foods Non veg food avoided ... If not improving than USG , stool culture , colonoscopy like investigation needed Take care Advise : Physician consultation.
