What Causes Bloody Mucus While Coughing Up?
Hi doctor, i m 26 years old. I have cough and vomiting for past two years, recently i saw bloody mucus while coughing. Yesterday, I have been diagnosed to have klebsiella pneumoniae. Doctor prescribed to take ciprofloxacin and co-trimoxazole antibiotics. I would like to know whether this bacteria can be removed by these antibiotics or i have any serious issues. Kindly help me

Your doctor did sputum culture /sensitivity? According to that choose antibiotics. These antibiotics are also good. Any way to ask your doctor.
