What Causes Bloody Nasal Discharge After Smoking Methamphetamine?
Hello.doctor.I have a question ? I have a friend that smoke meth pretty much 24 hours 3-4days a week , my question is is it normal he started throwing up blood or blood come out thru his nose ? I wanna see how can i help him or if hes in danger ? What can i do?
Throwing up blood can be a sign of a serious problem, and he really needs to go in to be seen in person because he may have bleeding happening in his digestive tract.
It's also possible the blood he is throwing up is coming from his nose due to irritation from smokingmeth, but this needs to be distinguished (by exam by a doctor) to see what the source/location of the bleeding is.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bonnie Berger-Durnbaugh,
