What Causes Bloody Nose Overnight After Hitting Head?

Hello my daughter hit her head last night and this morning she has woken up to discover she has had a blood nose overnight. Her sheets and face were covered in blood. She appears to be fine and is keen to go to school. Should I take her to the doctors?

The bleeding nose could be related to the head trauma. But, I recommend consulting with an ENT specialist for a physical exam. A brain CT scan may be needed if nose bleeding persists, or if she has other symptoms like: fever, running nose, stiff neck, drowsiness, etc..
