What Causes Bloody Urination After A Hernia Surgery?

Hi doc , I went to the hospital for pain in the groin ct scan showed hernia and a cyst on my right kidney , didn,t bother me at the time so I had the hernia surgery, after a month of recovery I started urinating blood with clots and right kidney pain daily on disability no money coming in yet should I deal with pain or go to hospital .Taking motrin only lasts so long. thanks

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
You should see hospital. This should not be related to your hernia surgery,and most probably this is urinary stone or urinary infection so you need to do additional tests to see if some of these are present. You need to do ultrasound and urine analysis. Hernia surgery is done away from urinary organs so these 2 are not related.
