What Causes Blotchy Rash Around The Mouth Along With Irritated Eyes?

My 5 year old son has a rash around his mouth. Its not bumpy or raised. Its more blotchy than anything else. This is the second time it has appeared and this time he has a constant cough with it and redness in his eyes. I have him liquid all day allergy relief about 4pm and it hasn't gotten any better. What could this be and what would be safe to give him for his cough? Everything I have here has an antihistamine in it that I already have him.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blotchy rash around the mouth along with irritated eyes. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like seasonal allergy , contact dermatitis , side effects of medicine , eczema or anaplylaxis . I would suggest you to consult allergy specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order allergy symptoms and examine physically . Doctor may give adrenaline shot , immunoeuppressants along with anti inflammatory and asg your to avoid any cosmetic product . For now take over the counter anti inflammatory like benadry along with apply cold compresses and drink plenty of water .
