What Causes Blue Discoloration Of Tongue?

Hello, i woke up this morning feeling like i was going to throw up, So i went too my bathroom and sure enough i did, but afterwords i noticed when i looked in the mirror my tongue was blue. What does that mean? I have not ate anything that might make it blue, that i know of?

Hello! Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I read your query. You didn't mention if this has happened before or not. Blue discolouration of tongue and vomiting can occur due to various reasons ranging from acute gastroenteritis to acute infection to several serious diagnoses. Did vomiting happen again?
I would suggest you to visit a physician who can take your complete history including work history and do complete check up.
As for vomiting, a mild antiemetic like Dompal or Ondansetron will help.
