What Causes Bluishness And Tenderness Of The Knee With Pain Behind The Knee?

I have sudden onset semi severe pain in my right knee. Tenderness on the front with possibly bluish hue, I have obvious varicose veins. Strong pain behind that knee, making it difficult to walk. I worked all day in a physical, grocery store job. Towards the end of the day I started limping a little and it progressed rather quickly.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your job in the grocery store, it takes a long time standing or sitting position. The main reason for varicose veins lies in the position of the body for consistent long time.

My advice that you should change your position from sitting to standing or vice versa. And if still, it persists, better you should contact your physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
